2020 Daily Schedule

8am - 9am Welcome students
9am - 12:00pm Academic Classes (English, Math, Chinese)
12pm - 2pm Lunch break / Outdoor recess
2pm - 5:30pm Various activities (basketball, dancing, singing, painting, handcrafting, ping-pong, chess, etc.)
5:30pm - 6:30pm Freeplay time, parents pick up

Note

1. No morning academic classes on Friday, instead there will be a carnival event or field trip.

2. English, Chinese and Math classes, as well as other activities, are taught according to the age and level of the students.

3. August 28th (Friday), from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, is our end of summer performance. All campers and parents are invited!

4. Many professional teachers will open their own independent mini camps after 2pm Monday to Thursday. Parents interested in registering should contact the class teacher directly.  For more information, please click HERE.

Courses

The design of the Chinese Language course:

There will be a total of 7 classes in Chinese, and each child can find a suitable class that fits his or her Chinese level.

Our excellent teachers integrate knowledge and a sense of fun into their teaching.  Learning Chinese is no longer a boring experience!

The designs of the English and Mathematics courses:  The English course is based on the syllabus of American primary and secondary schools, and intertwined with a series of our own well-edited exercises aiming to improve children’s literacy skills.

The Math class is based on “Singapore Mathematics,” which is our main workbook. We aim to enable our students to acquire and master various mathematical skills and knowledge points.

Extra fun activities:

To develop student’s love of art and a stronger body,  we have included a wide selection of interesting activities in the afternoon: painting, dancing, singing, crafts, basketball, chess, ping pong, etc.

Final performance:

The annual final performance is a favorite of both children and parents alike. This year’s performance will be held on August 28, 2020 between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.

Friday Activities:

For weeks 1 & 5, we will offer a special “Student Market.”  Students can rent a table and sell gently used toys, books, etc!  
For weeks 4, 6, & 8, we will again offer student’s favorite field trips!  We will adventure out into museums, sky-zone, bowling, and parks.  
For weeks 3, 7 & 9, we will enjoy bounce house or water play at school! 
 
Parents and Guardians will be notified in advance about the specific arrangements for each trip, which may be subject to change. All field trips  are optional, and require an additional fee.
 
Our end of summer performance will be on week 10, and our end-of-summer party will be on week 11!

Tuition

TuitionWeekly tuition fee based on 5-day enrollment (8am-6:30pm)

Early bird enrollment: before 4/15:

8-10 weeks: $340/week; 

6-7 weeks: $350/week; 

4-5 weeks: $360/week; 

3 weeks and below: $370/week

Enrollment between 4/15 and 6/15:

8-10 weeks: $350/week;

6-7 weeks: $360/week; 

4-5 weeks: $370/week; 

3 weeks and below: $380/week

Enrollment after 6/15:

8-10 weeks: $355/week; 

6-7 weeks: $365/week; 

4-5 weeks: $375/week; 

3 weeks and below: $385/week

Note:

1. If registered for 4 days/week, the discount is $40/week.

    If registered for 4 half days/week, the discount is $100/week.

2. Non-refundable $50 registration fee per student, which includes a T-shirt.

3. There is no class on July 3, and the tuition fee for that week is reduced by $50.

4. The lunch fee is collected based on the child’s incoming grade: $20/week (PreK-K); $25/week (1-3rd grade); $30/week (4th grade and up). Registration is required and payment needs to be made at least one week in advance. Children are also welcome to bring lunch from home.

5. Sibling discount: 10% tuition fee discount for the second child, etc.

6. For all students who participated in our Summer Camp last year, the tuition fee is calculated based on the previous year’s rate.  We promise no tuition increase for our loyal students!

7. Additional fee for textbooks may occur.

8. Registration is not finalized until paid in full.

9. Windsor Academy retains the right to make necessary changes and adjustment to the courses and events.

 

Cancellation Policy 2020

To Cancel:

Before 4/15, full refund, registration fee is not refundable.

After 4/15 and before 5/30, $100 fee per week will be deducted.

After 6/1, no refund for any reason!

To add weeks:

Rate will be readjusted according to the total number of weeks enrolled, and at the time the payment is received.

To switch weeks:

To ensure the quality of teaching and staffing, two weeks advance written request is required to switch any week.

Mini Camps

Theater TEACHER BIO: Ms. Kacie Mixon has taught dramatics/public speaking for young people for over 25 years. She holds a BFA in Theater from Rutgers University, and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Montclair State University. She has taught in public and private schools, served as Education Coordinator at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and also taught at:  the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the George Street Playhouse, the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, and the Great River Shakespeare Festival.

Dates: 1st Session: 8/3-8/14  $900 Age 6-9

2nd Session: 8/17-8/28 $900  Age 8+

3rd Session: 8/31-9/4 $450    Age 7+

Times: Mon-Fri  9am-4pm (before-care 8AM-9AM & aftercare 4:30PM-6:30PM included)

Each class will perform different material so students are welcome to take all 5 weeks for a new yet familiar experience!

Tuition: Grades 1-2: $180/week ($150 for WA full day campers)

               Grades 3-8: $210/week ($180 for WA full day campers)

Soccer                Coach: Jessica Gonzalez has played with the Olympic Development team for 15 years.  Her passion and motivation has been recognized as both a player and coach for the past 30 years.

Dates:  6/22-6/25, 6/29-7/2, 7/6-7/9, 7/20-7/23, 8/3-8/6, 8/10-8/13 (6 weeks total)

Tuition: $200/week  ($160 for WA full day campers, $20/week late fee will apply if registering after 6/1

Ping Pong  Coach: Yin Peng is a UISATT certified National level Coach. She has over 20 years experience coaching in different countries and was a gold medalist in women’s doubles at the Sichuan Province Games, bronze medalist at the World University Championships. She coached the East China University of Science and Technology Youth Team and she was the coach and sparring partner of Singapore’s National Women’s Team.

Dates:  6/22-6/25; 6/29-7/2; 7/27-7/30    Times: Mon-Thu. 2pm-4pm  $140/week ($120/week for WA students)
